"My children have been taking classes with CLP since it started with just a few children. CLP makes learning Mandarin fun with songs and games. The children really get an opportunity to interact in Chinese. My kids have learned so much and I really appreciate CLP being available to parents like me who want their children to have more exposure to the language and develop their fluency. CLP has a variety of classes and camp programs that really meet these needs."
Jeannie Beck: Mother of CLP students aged 8 and 6 years old
"My three school-age children have been attending CLP for four years and we love it! The teachers are engaging, creative and make learning Chinese fun. CLP is a supportive, welcoming community that is attentive to each individual child's mandarin language abilities".
Rachel Brody: Mother of CLP students aged 9, 8, and 6
We are a non speaking Mandarin family. It became apparent to us a few years back that China was becoming an increasingly important economic power and we decided it was paramount for our daughter to become familiar with Mandarin. CLP is teaching her the language in a kid friendly manner. She enjoys her classes and all the staff members are extremely helpful. We are very pleased with our decision of enrolling her at CLP.
Gina: Mother of CLP student aged 8 years old
It is extremely hard to learn Chinese without the language environment. I started my older son with a traditional Chinese school at age of 5, he learned a lot, but hated the school. I was heart broken because Chinese is still my first language. I started asking the question " am I not doing enough to help him?'. The answer was "Yes!'. So I switched school! I still don't have enough time to help my boys the way that I would like to, but with CLP they enjoy the language and are very proud of their culture. All the teachers and assistants that we had were very nice and knowledgeable. The atmosphere of the school is very friendly and fun.
Ying Sung: Mother of CLP students aged 8 and 7 years old.
Our children have been at CLP for more than three years, starting at ages 5 and 8. They have learned a lot and enjoyed CLP's friendly atmosphere. Wanna and Joanne are very helpful and responsive in running the program and the teachers interact well with the students.
